Leonel Ferreira

Lawyer and accountant, working as an accounting expert for 10 years. Independent auditor and technical assistant with solid experience. University professor and academic researcher. He is a partner at Kaperian Corporation.

He worked as an expert and auditor at Porto Reis Perícias Contábeis, an activity previously performed at Simonaggio Perícias Contábeis.

PhD candidate in Controllership and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP). Master in Accounting Sciences from PUC-SP, completed as a full scholarship holder of PROSUP/CAPES/Scholarship Modality I (full).

He conducted research at the Center for Fiscal Studies at FGV Direito SP with Law professor Eurico Marcos Diniz de Santi, an institute that develops empirical research relating taxation, public finances and transparency under the scope of Development Law. He was a course monitor at FEA/USP and FIA (MBA Corporate Finance and Investment Banking). He interned at the tax law firms Sacha Calmon – Misabel Derzi Consultants and Lawyers and Mauler Sociedade de Advogados.
